The Top of the World

Standing on the summit of Everest, which is now accepted by the National Geographic Society as being 29,035 feet above the sea, increasing the previous height by seven feet.  Note the curvature of the earth horizon. The pointed peak right of centre is Makalu, which is the 6th highest mountain in the world at 27,790 feet.
